Sullivan 180’s Autumn Celebration, featuring journalist and author Julia Hotz, author of The Connection Cure.  

Julia, second in the Sullivan 180 Speaker Series, will share a national perspective on the power that connection, belonging and community have in creating healthier lives and stronger communities. Through her work exploring social prescribing, Julia highlights how connections to people, nature, movement and the arts and community can play an important role in our health and well-being.   The idea of social prescribing has taken root in Australia and the United Kingdom; and in some places in the USA.  Would it be interesting to consider this here in Sullivan County?
