49th Annual Spring Concert
Saturday, June 13, 2026 (12:30 PM - 3:00 PM) (EDT)
Description
The Sullivan County Community Chorus, led by Conductor Kevin Giroux, and accompanied by Keira Weyant, will proudly present its 49th Annual Spring Concert, “The Nature of Things” on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 12:30 pm at The Immaculate Conception Church, 6317 Route 42 North, in Woodbourne, NY.
The concert program features an eclectic series of short octavos performed by the full chorus, as well as three selections by the select “Chamber Singers.” Conductor Giroux has grouped the pieces by their relationship to, or illustration of themes, The Nature of: Creation; the Heavens; Love; Life; Death; and Praise. The program features works by such choral luminaries as John Rutter, Dan Forrest, Samuel Barber, Morton Lauridsen, and Johannes Brahms, as well as evocative pieces by lesser known, but exceedingly talented composers.
All are welcome! The beautiful Church sanctuary is a scenic short drive from much of the tri-county area, has ample parking and is ADA compliant. Suggested donation is $10 for adults and $5 for students. The chorus will graciously accept donations at the door, which will help the organization continue to bring choral music to the Catskills!
Come out and join us for a moving program perfect for a late Spring Saturday afternoon!
