
Now Accepting Nominations for the 2026 Board of Directors
The Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce is now seeking nominations for dedicated members to serve on its Board of Directors beginning in January 2026.
The Board plays a vital role in shaping the Chamber’s vision and direction, overseeing policies, budgets, and strategic priorities. Directors serve a three-year term and must be members in good standing. The Board is composed of up to fourteen (14) individuals representing a diverse range of businesses and organizations throughout Sullivan County.
We currently have five (5) available Board seats. If you or someone you know would be a great fit to help guide the Chamber’s mission and support the local business community, we encourage you to submit a nomination.
How to Submit
- Complete the nomination form and upload a current resume.
- All eligible nominations will be reviewed by the Chamber’s Nominating Committee.
- Following Committee review, nominees will advance to Chamber member voting, where each member organization may vote for up to five (5) candidates.
Key Dates (2025)
- Nominations due: Friday, October 10 by 5:00 PM (close of business)
- Meet-the-Candidates Mixer: Thursday, October 16 at Upward Brewing Company, Livingston Manor
Come meet, mingle, and learn about the nominees. - Chamber Member (2nd round) Voting closes: Friday, October 31
- Announcement of the 2026 Board of Directors: Thursday, November 13 at the 2025 Business Excellence Awards & Annual Meeting (HPAC)
Onboarding & Term
- December 2025: New Directors are invited to the Board meeting for a meet-and-greet and orientation overview.
- January 2026: Terms begin (three-year term: January 2026–December 2028).
Eligibility & Expectations
- Must be a Chamber member in good standing.
- Commitment to attend regular Board meetings, serve on committees, and participate in Chamber events.
- We value a diverse mix of skills, industries, and perspectives that reflect the breadth of Sullivan County’s business community.
